"Bargain Basement Tuna Nicoise" for dinner tonight. So called due to it's unappealing presentation, not a reflection of the cost to make sadly. How do you make canned tuna look appetising? Should I have flaked it up and sprinkled it all over? The joy of eating tuna is getting a meaty chewy mouthful, tuna sprinkles just don't cut it round here. The compromise is serving up a dinner that appears to come with a side of cat food.

It tastes good, though the picture would have you believe otherwise.

You'll need:

  • Potatoes, cubed & par boiled for 7 minutes before roasting in fry light, sea salt and rosemary for about 30mins at top temperature and at top of oven.
  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • Rocket leaves
  • Can of tuna (in brine)
  • Green beans
  • 8 olives (1 SYN)

Just chuck it all together. Or arrange lovingly if you want it to look good as well as taste good.

BREAKFAST: A MELON. A GOOD ONE TOO. NOT A MUSHY SWEET SWEET SWEET OVER RIPE ONE;

LUNCH: TWO ALPEN LIGHT CHOC & FUDGE BARS (HEALTHY B CHOICE) AND AN APPLE. THIS IS A STUPID LITTLE LUNCH. WAS OUT WITH THE TROLL AND SQUIRKY AND DIDN'T PACK A LUNCH FOR ME. JUST THE KIDDY QUAVERS, MARMITE SARNIES AND HUNGRY BABY MILK; DINNER

: "BARGAIN BASEMENT TUNA NISCOISE";

SNACKS: BANANAS, APPLES, STOLEN GRAPES, AND FAR TOO MUCH MULLER LITE YOGHURT. A LOVELY MILKY OPTIONS HOT CHOCOLATE BEFORE BED (2 SYNS AND HEALTHY A CHOICE SEMI-SKIMMED MILK).
